Once you are enrolled, a Case Manager will call, text, or email to welcome you to the program and answer any questions you might have.

One of the first things your Case Manager will do is conduct a benefits investigation. They will review your insurance plan to determine if your prescribed medication is covered and what your out-of-pocket costs will be.

Help with getting your medication

We're here to help you get started on your treatment. Your Case Manager will help by tracking any prior authorizations or appeals your doctor may need to submit to your insurance provider.

If your medication is covered by your insurance but you need help with co-payments, the Takeda Oncology Co-Pay Assistance Program may be able to help with your out-of-pocket costs. Terms and conditions apply.*

If your medication is not covered by your insurance, or you are not insured, Takeda Oncology Here2Assist will help investigate financial assistance options that may be available to you.

Assist with worry-free shipment of your prescription

A Case Manager will work with a specialty pharmacy to ensure your prescription is processed, filled, and shipped directly to you, or, if in-office dispensing is available, you may also be able to pick up your prescriptions at your doctor's office.

Sometimes called a benefits verification, this is done on your behalf to see if your insurance covers a specific medicine.

Healthcare costs that you must pay on your own because they are not covered by Medicare or other insurance. These include deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments, and other servicerelated costs.

Approval you must get from your health plan before you receive a healthcare service or fill a prescription for that service or prescription to be covered by your plan. 

A request you make to your insurance company to reverse a decision you disagree with when denied healthcare services, coverage for a medicine, or payment for services you already received, or if you disagree with a decision to stop services that you are receiving. 

An initial fixed amount you must pay for an approved healthcare service after insurance has paid its share. A co-payment is usually a set amount rather than a percentage. For example, you may pay a $20 co-pay for a doctor’s visit or prescription.

A pharmacy that handles specialty medications and other services for patients with rare and/or chronic diseases. Specialty drugs are often delivered directly to your home.
